hey, I'm Alexis

I’m Alexis.
And I used to be just like you.

I’m Alexis.
And I used to be just like you.

The personal branding photographer you want in your entourage

You know what you want, and are not afraid to go after it. You’re hungry for more and know that you have to level up constantly.

You’ve seen how the difference between someone who makes it to the top and someone who doesn’t is their brand (we’ve all heard of Taylor Swift…).

Superstars don’t do it alone. I’m here to capture your magic on camera and help you connect with your fans.

My style was compared to Nan Goldin for the raw emotional immediacy, and blends the allure of boudoir photography with the grit and authenticity of a music photographer capturing candids.

I’m a luxury portrait photographer with a passion for empowerment photography. I believe commercial photography can (and should) be just as beautiful and artistic as what we see in galleries. I call London, UK my home (for now), but I love chasing light around the world. I’m excited to connect with you and talk all about your photography needs.

Once upon a time (well, 1998) there was a little princess who loved to prance around the living room in elaborate gowns, singing her heart out to Blink182 (honestly, I don’t know how I got away with that, I was 9…) and printing more Polaroids than it was good for the planet.

Her favourite thing was to freeze moments in time, documenting the oh-so-cool BTS of the glamorous world of the music industry. Namely, her bazillion plushies, at least until her teens, when she started shooting concerts and the cool people who attended them.

I still love a floor-length gown, and Blink182, and haunting the backstage of a concert like the Phantom of the Opera. But I realised that the thing I loved the most about the industry was not the music per se, although I can’t live without it (fr fr).

If this sounds like a vibe, let's talk! ✨

It was self-expression.
It was freedom.
It was the shared feeling of belonging to
something bigger than ourselves.

Honestly, if you don’t know what I’m talking about when I say that I can be brought to tears as the lights dim, the instruments go low, and the lead singer points the mic to the crowd so they can sing together, I wonder if you know what it feels to be truly alive.

You don’t have to have a band to work with me, that’s not the only way I’m for hire.
But I work with people who want to co-create that feeling in the people who see the photos I took of them (even if it’s themselves in a private photoshoot!).

I’m a Londoner, and will always consider the King’s Road my home (although I can be spotted north of the river a fair bit 😉), but I travel for work and I may be abroad already when you read this.

Personal Branding Photography

We see views, downloads, likes, and follows as the ultimate indicators of quality, when in fact, they're simply indicators of attention.
A better indicator of whether or not we're on the right path is impact.
Human to human.

Your brand photography allows you to tell your story through images
and have a more visceral impact on who lands on your website,
and increase the know-like-trust factor.

I believe commercial photography can (and should) be just as beautiful and artistic as what we see in galleries. I approach it with the same devotion to the people in front of my lenses as I do documentary projects.

You may not know the name of the photographer, but I’m sure you know the photo of Freddie Mercury punching down the mic at the Live Aid concert. The Beatles on the pedestrian crossing on Abbey Road. Tommy Lee Jones throwing a condom at a paparazzo from the car window.

Even people who aren’t into rock music know them. This is the legacy you can build with your visual branding.

I started my career shooting concerts and street fashion, so I'm handily positioned to cover all situations from live to documentary to posed portraits for your website, albums, photo-books, and more.

Boudoir Photography

For the woman who is ready to amaze herself.
To love herself.
To create herself.

Boudoir is about more than just hotel rooms and lingerie (although I’m a fan of a good corset, too). In fact, it doesn't need to involve lingerie at all.

It’s about surrendering to more of who you truly are.

Branding Photography

It was 1890 when Oscar Wilde wrote “Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing” and that’s still true in 2023.

If you believe that artists should be valued for the contribution they make to society and compensated fairly so they can do more of what they were born for without compromising for the sake of a roof over their heads then you want your work to be seen by the people with that mindset and a willingness to invest in art and support artists.

Album covers, websites, photobooks for your fans, headshots for your bio: there are so many uses for images that document who you are as an artist and create an emotional connection with the people you want to sell to

A blend of Capricorn and Scorpio, and a total photography nerd who couldn’t live without red lipstick and a Little Black Dress

The things I do may look unrelated, but for me they are inseparable. I’m a witch with a camera, looking at the world like a flâneuse moving around the world open to the beauty and magic and wonder even in the mundane of life.

I’m a business owner who thrives surrounded by people who can relate to that, and has a talent for holding space for people to bare their souls without feeling judged for it.

I’m passionate about helping people live life on their own terms so that they won’t regret what they didn’t do when they die. Experience more, travel, go to all the concerts and festivals, read widely and think deeply, dance, be free.

Have a family, have no family, just rolling with life as it unfolds, as we follow the pleasure without feeling guilty for wanting things, or even just wanting space, and rest and leisure outside of the hustle culture we live in.

About me

Freedom from the subconscious impact of the puritanical ideas that have been in our patriarchal society for centuries.

Pleasure for me is a way of life, not a reward. I lead with pleasure first. After all, work takes up one of the biggest chunks of our time, especially for us business owners.

I like: French75 cocktails, late afternoons on sunny days in the autumn when it’s still not too cold, Hakuoki.

I don’t like: seeing our beautiful cities full of rubbish on the street, unsweetened hot coffee, my Airpods dying when I’m picturing a whole scene in my head like it’s an indie rom-com with Zooey Deschanel circa 2008
