As an artist, I’m fascinated by the link between art, creativity, and spirituality and magic. So much of our artistic heritage is steeped in religious symbolism, but the various paintings of the Madonna that look like I posed for all of them in the National Gallery are not what this season of the podcast was about, even if they have raised the minds of generations to their god.
The season explored the idea that “Art can permeate the very deepest part of us, where no words exist”, as autism advocate Eileen Miller said. We looked at connecting with our own psychic abilities, regulating the nervous system so we can connect with our creativity, as well as diving deeper into the realm of symbolism and magic.
Come with an open mind and a commitment to life as a creative endeavour, or even if you are as obsessed with certain schools of thoughts as I am, life as a work of art, and let’s explore the intersection of art, magic, and creativity.
Art, Magic, and Creativity
This solo episode was a brief look at the overlap between art, magic, and creativity. In it I talked about Hilda af Klimt, which inspired the concept for the season, as well as Peter Schmidt and Brian Eno, Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and the groundbreaking science in Your Brain on Art by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross.
Harness your psychic gifts with Brandi Van
Brandi Van is a Spiritual Medium and Psychic Mentor. Through coaching services, speaking, and writing, Brandi helps people discover their unique psychic gifts so they can experience an abundance of peace and find their Higher Purpose. On the podcast, we had a wonderful exchange about the real life of a medium, my clairsentience, and how her earlier journey helped her psychic work instead of being “a waste of money” to go to college not to use the degree professionally anymore.
Star Magic: Autumn Meteors
This solo episode was a pause in the theme of the season in order to look at the meteors we see in Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere: the Draconids, Taurids, and Leonids.
3 Minutes Movement for Wellbeing with Michael Landau
Michael Landau has been a professional musician for 30 years and a Feldenkrais practitioner, helping his students thrive through this method of mindful movement and learning through movement. He became an entrepreneur before the pandemic hit, and started creating videos of 3 minutes gentle movement sequences daily. It has now become a membership helping people find joy and pleasure in movement with awareness, so that it’s not a duty or obligation any more. In this episode, he shared about his work, why movement matters to artists and creatives, and even led us in one of his 3-minute practices.
Music, Words, and Magic
If you spend more than 5 minutes with me, you’ll find out just how much music is a part of my life. In this episode I looked at how music helps us move energy, why it can be damaging to hold too tightly to high vibe music only, and when, conversely, it serves us to be mindful of what we listen to on a day to day basis.
Astrology to Navigate Change and Creativity
In this episode, I take you behind the scene of my business and how I used a solar return chart to inform the new direction of this podcast and the Witchy Music newsletter, which are now one on hiatus and the other rebranded to Kinda Spiritual.

Spiralling into Awakening with Beth Neeley
What could you accomplish if you got out of your own way? I sat down with Beth Neeley, a practitioner of the Spiral School of Awakening, Akashic record reader, and more to explore how spiritual tools can help us get us out of our own way and in touch with the essence of who we really are.
The Feminine Rising: Witchcraft and Empowerment with our S2 and S3 guests
I’m extremely passionate about the divine feminine. As a Catholic, I was active in Catholic Feminist circles and loved to talk about Mary with protestants. Now that my journey of developing my own relationship with it took me to the occult, I have been honoured to host so many incredible women on the podcast. This Samhain special celebrated them with some empowering clips from their respective episodes.
Somatic Tools to Manage Stress with Katie Rochelle
My guest in the season finale was Katie Rochelle, lifelong seeker & Unwind practitioner. She ushered us into the holiday season talking about how to use the body to regulate our nervous system and manage stress, whether it’s holidays with a difficult family or opening up to our own creativity. The tools she shared are actionable and discreet, perfect to have at hand no matter the situation.
